Here are some other kitchens I’ve worked on.

I worked with the cabinetmaker and installer on this kitchen. American Cherry with granite counter-tops and marble tile:

Tinley addition

I worked on this project with our Breaffy Construction.

The client had a small ranch house and wanted an addition.

We came up with a plan to extend the house to the rear and out one side along with putting on an extra story.

I drew up a plan and we went to work:

At the back of the house a new basement was dug out.

The existing basement wall had to be under-pinned with re-bar inserted to tie in the new concrete:

This also required plenty of bracing to form the wall:

This house in Oak Forest had a small kitchen to the rear of the house. The client wanted an addition to expand the kitchen and add a dining room.

I drew up some plans and helped the client pick out cabinetry, flooring, granite countertops and appliances etc.

The siding and roofing was tied into the original to make it look seamless:

Basement remodel

This basement was in need of some changes. The client’s basement had a toilet in plain view next to the drain of a former shower. Evidently, some privacy was in order.

I started by removing the old laundry sink:

Chicago Addition

chicago-1

I worked on this project with Breaffy Construction.

This project took a small Chicago house and added to it by building out one side and adding a large second story.

I worked with the owner on the design of this house,  the construction drawings and permitting in Chicago, choosing finishes and helping them through the construction process.

We started with a small house:

First step was to dig out for a new basement on one side:

chicago-3

The basement walls were poured and then the side room was built. The roof was demolished from the original. Then a new second story was added across all the house:

The old section of the existing house was gutted:
